Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Optimize Redis instances for low-latency, high-throughput applications by tuning performance, memory usage, and replication settings.
  • Should be having experience in Redis Installation and also Migrating from Gemfire to Redis
  • Design efficient memory management strategies within Redis to handle large datasets and optimize memory usage.
  • Implement Redis as a distributed cache to improve application scalability, ensuring quick data access and reducing backend load.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate Redis operations, including backups, monitoring, failover, and disaster recovery.
  • Implement security best practices for Redis, such as enabling encryption, authentication, and access control.
  • Maintain and upgrade Redis infrastructure, ensuring stability and compatibility with new features and versions.
  • Guide junior on Redis best practices, training team members on Redis usage and operational workflows.
  • Stay updated on the latest Redis advancements and contribute to optimizing its usage in high-availability, high-concurrency environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and operational issues in Redis, ensuring system stability and uptime.
