Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR Recruiter to manage the end-to-end recruitment process for multiple retail store locations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of retail hiring needs, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for finding the best talent. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to attract, screen, and hire candidates for various positions including store-sales associates, store managers, shop boy and other retail staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Sourcing:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for retail positions, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Set up and utilize various recruitment channels (job boards, social media, employee referrals, job fairs) to attract qualified candidates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local recruiting agencies, community groups, and educational institutions to build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Candidate Screening and Selection:
- Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and evaluate candidates qualifications and cultural fit for the organization.
- Conduct interviews in collaboration with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and professional process.
- Assist hiring managers with assessing candidate qualifications and selecting the best fit for each retail position.
- Onboarding and Hiring Documentation:
- Facilitate the onboarding process, including the collection of necessary hiring documentation, background checks, and reference checks.
- Ensure a seamless transition for new hires, ensuring they are prepared and excited to join the team.
- Talent Pipeline and Market Research:
- Maintain an ongoing talent pipeline for future hiring needs by building relationships with candidates who may be suitable for future opportunities.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor hiring strategies to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting top retail talent.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with store managers and brands to understand hiring needs and priorities.
- Provide regular reports on recruitment status, challenges, and progress towards hiring goals.
- Track and measure the success of recruitment campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for process improvement.
- Employee Retention Support:
- Assist in identifying retention challenges and collaborate with HR to develop strategies for employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an HR Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role, preferably in the retail or customer service industry.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and interview techniques.
- Strong understanding of retail roles and skills required for success in various retail positions.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with candidates at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
