Job Description

Position: Recruitment Manager

Location: Rohini, New Delhi

Experience: 5-7 years in recruitment, preferably within the building material or wood industry.

Job Overview:

The Recruitment Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, focusing on hiring skilled professionals in the plywood and wood veneer sector. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the industry, as well as expertise in identifying and attracting top talent for technical, managerial, operational roles and developing innovative plans for sourcing high-calibre candidates for hard-to-fill positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing recruitment plans to attract and retain top-tier talent, aligning hiring efforts with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Leveraging advanced headhunting techniques, including direct sourcing, market mapping, and relationship-building, to identify passive candidates.
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and on boarding for a range of roles within the plywood and wood veneer industry.
  • Utilizing industry connections, job boards, social media, and other channels to source candidates with experience in plywood, wood veneer, and related fields.
  • Working closely with department heads to understand hiring needs, creating job descriptions and ensuring an efficient hiring process.
  • Tracking and analysing recruitment KPIs (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source of hire) to measure the success of recruitment initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Enhancing the company's reputation as an employer of choice in the plywood and veneer industry through targeted recruitment marketing initiatives.
  • Ensuring a smooth, positive experience for candidates from application through onboarding.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years in recruitment, with at least 2-3 years focusing on manufacturing or industry-specific hiring; experience in the plywood/wood industry is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the plywood and wood veneer industry, including the specific skills and qualifications required for technical and production roles.
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical skills to measure recruitment performance metrics
  • Highly organized, proactive, with the ability to handle multiple positions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
