JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced campus and lateral hiring recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruiting strategies for attracting top talent from universities and colleges, as well as supporting one specific business unit with their lateral hiring needs. This role requires a blend of skills in campus recruitment, relationship building, and talent sourcing for experienced professionals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lateral Hiring:
- Support one specific business unit with their lateral hiring needs.
- Source, screen, and recommend experienced candidates for open positions within the business unit.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including social media, networking events, job boards, and employee referrals, to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring leads and hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process and a positive candidate experience.
- Negotiate job offers with candidates and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
Campus Recruitment:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key universities, colleges, and student organizations to promote our brand and attract top talent.
- Plan and execute campus recruitment activities, including career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand entry-level hiring needs and align campus recruitment efforts accordingly.
- Manage the internship program, including selection, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of campus recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in campus recruitment and lateral hiring.
- Ability to travel to various campuses and recruitment events as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, academic institutions, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
