Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist - Hotel Management. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position with a focus on creating a welcoming and efficient front desk experience for our guests.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficient in using hotel management software and MS Office applications
- Ability to handle a high volume of guests and stressful situations
- Familiarity with local attractions and transportation options
- Previous experience in a hotel receptionist role is preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
- Welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel and ensure a smooth check-in process
- Manage reservations and room assignments, and handle guest inquiries
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle billing and payment transactions accurately
- Assist with coordinating guest requests and special arrangements
- Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
- Keep track of room availability and communicate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
