WhiteWater West is seeking a Receiver to join our Supply Chain Management Team at our office in Mumbai, India! In this position you will be responsible for receiving drop shipment Purchase orders (PO). This a key role in ensuring that raw materials and parts are received accurately and on time in the ERP system.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Receive drop shipment POs and others as instructed by manager in our ERP system (MS D365).
- Check GoComet shipment tracking system for booked shipments and receive autonomously using documents on SharePoint and N-drive
- As soon as a PO is shipped, obtain the shipping documents from Logistics/Buyers/Vendors and autonomously
- Check integrity of documents against checklist (value, quantity, items, PO number shipped match PO in ERP, if not liaise with vendor/logistics or buyers to correct the issue found
- Documentation that receiver will handle most are are:
- Transport documents: bills of lading, airwaybills, truck bills of lading, etc.
- Packing lists: detailed or summarized versions from vendor see whether shipping documents of a PO are completed on hand.
- Record WW shipment number, tracking number and carrier name in receiving notes
- If Receiver finds discrepancies among documents or in PO they will liaise with Logistics/Buyers/Vendors.
- If no issues, perform receiving following below steps:
- Write down the date of receiving on the packing list (P/L).
- Scan or attach already scanned the documents to PO being received
- Receive PO in part or full in ERP (D365)
- Resolve issues related to receiving
- Back up for the Receiver at the Manufacturing plant in Canada
- Adhere to receiving policies/procedures, and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Assist with other administrative functions in supply chain team as directed by management
Qualifications & Experience:
- Data analysis skills and analytical thinking are required
- Attention to detail and accuracy are required
- Intermediate computer skills, knowledge of ERP systems, Power BI and data entry and inventory management system is required
- Excellent MS Excel and MS Office skills required
- Bachelor s degree in related discipline (accounting, international trade, supply chain, inventory management or similar), or equivalent knowledge/experience in receiving, warehousing, accounting, data entry or inventory management required
- Must have worked night-shift before and live in Mumbai area (able to commute to our office)
- Ability to work independently after initial training is a must
- At least 3 - 5 years receiving experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Good time management skills and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must speak and write English fluently.
- Organized, able to multi-task and handle conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer skills, and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs.
- ERP knowledge, preferably MS D365 is preferred but not mandatory
