What You Can Expect
We are hiring a Realtime DevOps Engineer. Realtime Operates the company's complex high traffic, business critical network-based communication systems. Designs and deploys scalable network solutions connecting diverse platforms and protocols, facilitating video conference and live stream technologies with emphasis on IP and VOIP. Responsible for system performance, availability, resiliency . Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Attention to detail. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
About The Team
With eight specialized departments, the engineering team functions as a highly collaborative, diverse powerhouse. Each department mission is to deliver seamless and innovative communication solutions. These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance.
What Were Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant experience and Bachelor of Computers or similar in education (BTech/ BCA/ MCA).
- Experience in scripting and programming languages: Python, Go, C++, Java (at least one language).
- Experience and expertise in shell scripting, Linux command line utilities.
- Experience with MVC Web Application Frameworks: Django, Flask, Jinja2.
- Experience in automating build processes of complex production software systems.
- Experience or knowledge configuration management tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt.
- Have proficiency with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tools: Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Have an understanding of Application Integration technologies using message brokers and distributed task queues.
