Job Summary
Position Summary:
Directly assists the physician during invasive cardiovascular, electrophysiology, and/or peripheral vascular procedures. Practices appropriate sterile technique during every case. Basic Arrhythmia trained. proficient in diagnostic right and left heart catherization's, pacemaker/ICD insertions, coronary interventions including balloon pump and right and left-sided Impella, PTCA's, Atherectomy (Laser and Rotoblator), stent, IVUS, pressure wires, myocardial biopsies, peripheral angioplasty, endovascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, OR/Cath lab combo cases in the Hybrid Suite, pericardiocentesis, and other cardiology procedures assigned. Can also fulfill the role as second circulator, documenter, and successfully achieve hemostasis and effectively evaluate and reduce/decrease hematomas. Functions as a member of the Cath Lab Team to provide a safe, efficient environment.
Responsible for the proper operation, safety, and maintenance of radiologic equipment, the correct preparation and placement of patients prior to and during the invasive radiologic procedures. Assists with pre and post procedure patient care. Maintains accurate and complete documentation of care provided. Serves as patient advocate. utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.

$10,000 Sign-on bonus!*
Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)
Typical Hours: Day Shi, on call rotation
Education:
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or equivalent allied health professional registry required
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or ARRT Cardiac Interventional Certification required in addition to primary registry within 18 months of employment- preferred
License/Certifications:
CPR Certification- required
ACLS Certification- required
Experience:
- Prior Cath Lab or Radiology experience- preferred
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good organizational, communication and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills
