Overview
As a Radiologist Consultant (MD/DNB/DMRD), you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely diagnoses through medical imaging, utilizing your expertise to contribute to patient care and treatment planning. Your role will be pivotal in interpreting complex medical images, communicating findings to healthcare teams, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret complex diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and ultrasound.
- Consult with referring physicians to provide accurate and timely radiology reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Supervise and train radiology technologists and support staff.
- Contribute to research initiatives and continuous learning in the field of radiology.
- Participate in the development and implementation of radiology protocols and procedures.
- Provide expertise and guidance in the acquisition and maintenance of imaging equipment.

- Contribute to the development and review of radiology policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent degree in Radiology from a recognized institution.
- DNB (Diplomate of National Board) or equivalent qualification in Radiology.
- DMRD (Diploma in Medical Radio-Diagnosis) or equivalent specialization.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist Consultant.
- Proven experience in interpreting diagnostic imaging and providing accurate reports.
- Strong knowledge of radiology protocols, procedures, and safety measures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care and safety.
