Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Recognition: Implement and oversee the revenue recognition process in accordance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards.
- Contract Review: Analyse and interpret customer contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of revenue accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present revenue-related financial reports, providing insights and analysis to senior management.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations for revenue-related inquiries.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to revenue accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes in IFRS 15 and ASC 606.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Operations, to ensure alignment on revenue recognition policies and procedures.
