Ph. D. / M. Sc. / M. Tech with Polymer Chemistry OR Material Science OR Paint & Coating Technology
Minimum 7 years of product development and testing experience in liquid & solid water proofing products based on SBR, Acrylic, PU, Bitumen chemistry or paint / coating industry
Leads in identifying, evaluating, and recommending formulations, and manufacturing processes that best meet the application requirements.
Proficient in providing scientific explanations, for the underlying mechanism, of experimental results through proper data analysis.
Identify and work with external technology sources including academic institutions, consultants, test labs, material suppliers, and material processors to qualify or develop the proposed products/technologies.
Work with Sales and Marketing, Purchasing and other team members on defined project priorities, and strategic development directions.
Support customers by providing requested test data, material evaluation report or any other assistance as needed.
The candidate should be self-motivated and be able to carry out day to day technical work with minimal guidance.
