Responsibilities:
Play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional user experience by safeguarding the quality and usability of our web and desktop applications using unit and integration tests.
Embrace the power of automation, craft and execute comprehensive test plans using frameworks and tools like Selenium or Cypress, significantly enhancing test coverage and efficiency.
Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and frameworks.
Meticulously analyze test results to pinpoint inconsistencies, usability roadblocks or visual imperfections.
Champion user-centricity - evaluate application s usability through various testing methods, ensuring it aligns with the target audience s needs and expectations.
Clearly and concisely convey findings to developers, designers, and other stake holders, fostering seamless collaboration and prompt issue resolution.
Qualification:
BE / B. Tech / M. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent with 3+ Years of relevant experience.
Exposure in frontend testing methodologies.
Must-have Skills:
Experience in software quality assurance.
Experience in building testing infrastructure for test automation and integrating it with CI/CD.
Proficiency in Python.
Hands-on experience with Selenium.
Knowledge of shell scripting in any one of bash, csh, zsh.
Knowledge on Software Development Lifecycle.
Working Knowledge with Linux/Unix and/or Windows environments
Knowledge of general algorithms and data structures
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Good-to-have Skills:
Knowledge of Playwright, Cypress.
Knowledge of Pytest.
Full-Stack knowledge.
Knowledge of distributed systems, understanding of TCP/IP, RPC frameworks, REST.
