nJob Role and Responsibility:
nWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance to join our System Testing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking (L2/L3/L4) with knowledge of protocols, switching, routing, and TCP/IP. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in testing methodologies and automation. Candidate would be working on L4-L7 Load balancer at a System Test level, including performance and scale.
nResponsibilities:
- nDesign, configure, and test L4-L7 level load balancer, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- nUnderstand test requirements, write test plans, run Manual tests
- nAutomation of the tests performed
- nAnalyse, Repro and Work with Customer issues for resolution
- nPerform packet debugging and analysis
- nIdentify areas where scripting and automation can improve network operations and suggest appropriate solutions
- nCollaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure network requirements are met and automated where possible
- nStay up to date with networking trends and technologies, recommending improvements as necessary
- nProvide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders
nRequirements:
- nBachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- n8+ years of experience as a QA engineer with strong test design methology principles
- nStrong understanding of L2/L3/L4 protocols, switching, routing, and TCP/IP.
- nWorking experience with REST API
- nStrong in scripting and automation, preferably in Python
- nUsage of network testing and debugging tools.
- nWorking knowledge of VMware technologies, including Hypervisors
- nExpert in L2-L7 network architectures.
- nFamiliar with Jenkins and GIT for version control and network automation.
- nKnowledge of Public Cloud and Kubernetes areas is a plus
- nKnowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools is a plus.
- nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
- nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
