Your responsibilities:
Design and implementation, verification, and commissioning of the MACH control system to meet ourcustomer's requirements.
Responsible for design, time schedule, budget, and quality of deliverables during the entire projectexecution process for control scope
Extensive contact with other engineering groups, the project manager, local ABB offices and externally toour customer during factory acceptance and commissioning phase.
Ready for travel to sites to support commissioning of MACH system.
Control logics design and testing
Simulation of control logics and algorithms in PSCAD/Matlab environment
Pre-studies of new and evolving technologies in power quality
Hardware Integration, interfacing with RTDS.

Your background:
ME Power Systems / ME Power Electronics.
You should have 3+ years of experience in modelling of voltage sourced converters (VSC) for HVDC, FACTS or drives.
You should have experience in simulation tools such as EMTDC / PSCAD, PSS/E, RTDS and calculations in Matlab.
Understanding application of Power Electronics in HV/EHV system
Hands on experience in performing power system studies like load flow, short circuit, transient stability
and switching transients for utility / industrial. systems.
Good knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purpose. Example, Power Transformers,Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformer and measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectorsand Surge Arrestors
Knowledge in selection, sizing, integration and testing of above equipment based on customer specification.
