Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB's success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation business BA Function Technology division in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: Working as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision. Performing various tasks in the assigned area (e.g., mechanics, electronics, thermal, software), from building concepts, gathering requirements to designing, implementing, integrating, testing, technology transfer or maintenance, and operations. Understanding and applying applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements, including architectural and design constraints. Driving the achievement of assigned targets (quality, time, scope, cost) and raising and addressing risks.

Qualifications for the role

• 6 to 10 years with B.E. - Computers, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, MCA
• Front End (Must): Frontend development experience with Angular (Nprime, State Management, HTMLs/CSS/JavaScript). Version 14 and higher.
• Programming Languages (Preferred): C# and interoperability and Programming Paradigms: Hands on Experience on Front end/ UI design patterns. Experience in Test automation tools such as Selenium, Python, C#. Exposure to Integration with Backend. REST APIs.
• Work as part of a team, developing Front end applications using Agile development methods.
• Develop new software products from grounds up, staying true to our company's core values while lending your own creativity to the team and Maintain existing software to meet the changing needs of our key demographics.
• Integration of APIs developed by a back-end developers with server side logic and Code, test and operate Angular based services.
• Focus on creating fault-tolerant programming and Create scalable, reusable, library and automated solutions for our customer base.
• Establish multi-platform versions of the software package and Write automated unit test/Functional tests for new and existing application to ensure compatibility and stability
