Description Of Job Role And Responsibilities
- General development of Carbon Capture Structured Packings
- Technical support of field sales and application engineering, especially in MT & PI
- Development of new, innovative products in coordination with sales, business development and product management
- Technical support of Global R&D or contact person for Global R&D
- Technical design for packings & developing software calculation program, among other things
- Customer support in all questions of technical application
- Creation of solution concepts and the recording of specific customer requirements
- Preparation of project reports for internal and external customers
- Support for Local/Global Product Board Organization
- Development and maintenance of process engineering product data
- Independent project management
- Processing of R&D projects according to the specifications of the Global Product Board
- Planning, execution and documentation of tests with mist eliminators or with the heat chamber (material tests)
- Planning and coordination of test setups and prototypes
- Carrying out external measurements in plants
- Theoretical and practical basic investigations
- Support of QA in metrological tasks and fundamental questions (standards, damage analyses, etc.)
- Training on Carbon Capture Structured Packings, their application, their calculation for new employees (international)
- Training of employees on specific questions in specific applications
- International travel (approx. 10%)
- Building the R&D strategy and the team
- Setting up a lab and driving mass transfer product development for carbon capture
- Implementing global R&D processes and tools in MIN
- Working with the broader carbon capture R&D organization (Magnus Carlsson and co)
Experience And Skills Required
- Has been leading development before (proactive or self-driven)
- Experience with testing and verification (way of working)
- Team leader
- Experience of transition to a structured and standardized way of working (understands how R&D affects the cost profile)
- Experience from working in a global context
- Knowledge of mass transfer is a plus but experience of R&D in an engineering company important

Academic Background
