Your role and responsibilities
You will be responsible for the VAPT(Vulnerability Assessment Penetration Testing), robustness testing of embedded devices (wired and wireless 802.11/ BLE) and host based industrial software, VAPT of web application, APIs and mobile applications, threat analysis of the ABB products from security point of view and in-depth analysis of results and writing technical reports. Also be responsible for evaluating security methodologies relevant for the organization. You will also showcase your expertise by staying abreast of the state of the art and actively applying this knowledge.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Process Automation Technology Business based out in Bangalore.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Security testing of embedded devices (wired and wireless 802.11/ BLE) and host based industrial softwares (Windows and Linux), Web applications, APIs and Mobile Apps (android and iOS) which includes communication/ stack robustness testing, VAPT.
- Performing Firmware analysis and reverse engineering; Hardware exploitation.
- Threat analysis of the devices from security point of view and In-depth analysis of results and writing technical reports.
- Providing suggestion/fixes for improvement to device/software development teams and evaluating of new testing methodologies relevant for the organization.
- Researching on new technologies/ attack surfaces/ vulnerabilities, enhancements to existing testing methodologies.
- Perform IEC62443-4-1/ 4-2 assessments and System Level Penetration testing.
Qualifications For The Role
- B.E/ B. Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics Engineering and M. Tech in Computer Science(CGPA of 6.5 and above).
- 4-6 years of working experience in port scanning, Vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and Fuzzing tools.
- Knowledge of cloud and container security, code review, SAST, and DAST testing is a plus
- Experience in web applications scanning, penetration testing and vulnerability Assessment reporting.
- Good understanding of VAPT tools like Metasploit, Nessus and Burp Suite and should be able to write exploit codes.
- Relevant certifications (CEH, OSCP, Security+) are an added benefit.
