We are currently seeking a highly motivated Quoting Specialist Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship.
As a Quoting Specialist Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales operations by learning and assisting with the quoting process, generating quotes for various products, and performing data analysis and cleanup responsibilities.
This internship provides an excellent opportunity for college students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in a professional environment and develop valuable skills in quoting data analysis, and CRM software usage.
Responsibilities:
Quoting Process: Learn and understand the quoting process, including, selecting appropriate products, and pricing strategies.
Quote Generation: Assist in generating quotes for various products and complexities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis tasks to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement related to quoting and sales performance.
Data Cleanup: Support data cleanup activities within the CRM system to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Reporting: Assist in the creation of reports and dashboards to provide insights into quoting activities, sales metrics, and customer engagement.
CRM Software Usage: Gain proficiency in using CRM software to input and manage customer data, track quoting activities, and generate reports.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, product managers, and other departments to gather information and ensure accurate quoting.
Continuous Learning: Actively participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance quoting skills, data analysis techniques, and CRM software proficiency.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program or recent graduate.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools is a plus.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
