We are Hiring for
Quantity Surveyor on Contract Basis (Third Party) for a
reputed German MNC at
Devanahalli, Bangalore location.
Purpose of the job:
Due to Company's on-going Project in Bangalore, we have a requirement for Quantity Surveyor.
Main tasks
Cost Estimation: Candidate is responsible for estimating the cost of materials, labor, and equipment
required for a construction project. This includes accurately predicting the quantity and cost of resources
needed and assisting in obtaining project budgets.
Contract Management: Candidates must often handle contract administration, reviewing contract for
specifications and terms & conditions, progress payments, and cost control. Additionally, have a strong
understanding of contractual terms and can flag any potential risks.
Risk Analysis: Candidate must assess and manage risks to minimize the impact of cost overruns and other
financial risks.
Report Generation: Candidate can generate and provide accurate progress reports and forecast final
outcomes during project progress.
Client Liaison: Candidate must know about how to liaise with all stakeholders such as engineers, architects,
contractors, and suppliers.
Requirements
Specific Knowledge:
Project management experience with a proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
Strong Oral And Written Communication Skills Are Required.
Additionally, strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, as well
as the ability to effectively communicate with other engineers and technicians.
Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations as far Civil Engineering
works are concern.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience required in Civil Engineering handling
Quantity Surveying functions.
- Candidates having experience during setting up of Industrial Plant Facility will be preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
