QUANTITY SURVEYOR(S) (KERALA)

INTRODUCTION:

UN!Q Project Solutions, a 10-year-old business with circa 95+ staff across the UAE, KSA and India, is looking to strengthen its existing Pre-Contract Cost Management team in Kerala, with exciting opportunities for several talented degree-qualified Quantity Surveying professionals able to provide added value to our partners projects and portfolios on secured residential and hospitality contracts across the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Reporting to the office Senior Quantity Surveyor, the selected candidate will be expected to deliver best-in-class Pre-Contract service solutions to our existing partners across predominately the Hospitality, Residential, Leisure and Entertainment sectors, for the largest and most ambitious developers on some of the region's most iconic projects.

Whereby the chosen candidate(s) will be responsible for supporting large Pre-Contract Cost Management remits from our Kerala office, they must have demonstratable previous experience of successful Pre-Contract cost consultancy delivery of major Middle East projects, using POMI and NRM, as these individuals will be responsible for supporting in providing best-in-class service solutions to our valued partners, thereby maintaining UN!Qs has a growing reputation in the market.

While these opportunities are open to all degree-qualified candidates in India, this would ideally suit candidates from Kerala or Chennai looking for the opportunity to gain international exposure. RESPONSIBILITIES (As applicable to the specific role):

• Supporting teams of up to 5+ Cost Managers/Quantity Surveyors on day-to-day basis in Pre-Contract quantification in line with POMI and/or NRM
• Be proficient in RICS Rules of Measurement, Quantification, Cost Planning and Estimating, and Pricing Schedule (Bills of Quantities) preparation including GFA, NIA, POMI, NRM 1 and 2, CESSM
• CostX champion and preferred BIM experience
• Tendering and Procurement support including analysis and recommendation reports
• Support with the preparation of design and tender Cost Reports, ensuring they are a true reflection of the commercial status of the project
• Change Management through the design phase to determine and advise of any financial impact
• Supporting the management of significant Provisional Sum packages including any tendering and re-measurements
• Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution in line with local authority requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Quantity Surveying
• 1+ years of Quantity Surveying/Cost Management with reputed Cost Consultancy
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong familiarity with Cost Management software tools (CostX), FIDIC Suite of Contracts, methodologies, and best industry practices
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
