Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Team handling experience is a must.
- Should have worked with U.S based clients and U.S based projects for at least a year.
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software such as CostX, Bluebeam Revu and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates and budget for construction projects
- Assist in tender preparation and provide support in contract negotiations
- Conduct site visits and perform measurements for quantity takeoffs
- Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations and invoices
- Monitor project costs, progress, and quality
- Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project records
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and quality standards
- Assist in claims management and dispute resolution
- Collaborate with project team members to optimize project delivery
