Role- Quantity Surveyor Engineer

Education- Diploma/ B.tech in Mech/Electrical
Key Responsibilities
Experience- Up to 10yrs in relevant industry
- Quantity Verification and Invoice Processing:
- Confirm quantities for progress and invoice verification of payments to construction contractors.
- Ensure accuracy in quantity confirmation to facilitate timely and correct payment processing.
- Coordination and Scheduling:
- Coordinate and schedule measurement activities with construction management.
- Ensure all measurement activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Field Measurement Notes:
- Prepare and maintain complete and accurate field measurement notes.
- Document numerical calculations, basis of calculations, and assumptions/background for reference.
- Contract Change Review:
- Review construction contractor's proposals for contract changes for accuracy and quantity basis.
- Validate proposals against current contracts in collaboration with the contract administrator.
- Change Request Evaluation:
- Assist in evaluating change requests and interface with the contract administrator for the development of contract change documents.
- Support discussions and negotiations with contractors on estimates and contract change requests when required.
- Historical Data Compilation:
- Assist in compiling historical data and key quantity analysis.
- Ensure all historical data is accurate and well-documented for future reference and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity verification, contract management, and construction project controls.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations and evaluations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in project controls software and tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in reviewing and validating construction contractor proposals.
- Knowledge of contract change management and negotiations.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in construction projects.
