Job Description:

We are seeking a Quantity Survey Executive who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quantity surveying process for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates, budgets, and timelines for construction projects.

2. Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings.

3. Analyze project specifications and contractual agreements to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.

4. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and resolve any discrepancies.

5. Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value for the company.

6. Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction phase, identifying variances and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.

7. Prepare progress reports and financial forecasts for management and clients.

8. Assist in the preparation of claims and change orders as necessary.

9. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.

2. Proven experience of 2+ years in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction industry.

3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.

4. Proficiency in quantity take-off software and MS Office Suite.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Effective communication and negotiation abilities.

7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

9. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., RICS, PQS) are a plus.
