Quality Surveyor is responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. They work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to inspect and evaluate the quality of materials, workmanship, and overall project execution. Responsibilities include measuring and mapping construction sites, verifying construction plans and survey specifications, and collaborating with engineers to plan and implement new construction projects.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Evaluate the quality of materials and workmanship used in construction projects.
Prepare detailed reports on quality assessments and findings.- Recommend corrective actions to address quality issues.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality control.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.- Monitor and report on the progress of quality improvement initiatives.
Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
Review and approve quality control plans and documentation.- Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements.
Investigate and resolve quality-related complaints and issues.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss quality-related matters.
Ensure that all quality control activities are completed on time and within budget.- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality control.
Perform risk assessments related to quality control.
- Coordinate with external auditors and inspectors as needed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality management.- Ensure that all quality control equipment and tools are properly maintained.
Analyzing previous land records and surveys to ensure consistency in new measurements.
- Adjusting and operating surveying instruments such as the odolites and prisms to capture specific site details.
Maintaining the currency of all survey records and the calibration of instruments.- Monitoring changes in land due to factors such as erosion and providing updates on the potential impacts on ongoing projects.
- Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven 10 Years experience as a Quality Surveyor in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to conduct thorough inspections and assessments.- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience in preparing detailed reports and documentation.
- Ability to recommend and implement corrective actions.
