Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Conceptualize the process excellence and quality management strategy that is aligned to achievement of business objectives across the organization.
- Align the process and product quality strategies to the business needs across the value chain.
- Set direction for TQM, TPM and Sustainable Development initiatives in the organization.
- Set direction of the overall quality and performance measures for different businesses in the organization and ensures adherence to the same.
- Create guidelines for process and product quality in partnership with the relevant departments.
- Define the acceptable quality standards for process and product metrics in line with overall customer requirement.
- Create frameworks for driving focus on aspects of process and product quality standard adherence throughout the organization
- Define key metrics and measurement mechanisms for monitoring of key process and product standards
- Develop a Total Quality culture; Devise company guidelines and roadmaps.
- In consultation with management, to identify the business processes for optimization and improvement. To initiate and monitor such projects.
- To lead and set direction for various Quality interventions like: TQM, TPM, Six Sigma, PFMEA, IATF, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, control Plan etc.
- Responsible for Quality Assurance at all processes controls. (Product & process audits, closure of NC's by PDCA approach to sustain the robust quality systems)
- Ensure communication and monitor the compliance of company policies and guidelines. Liaise with functional and operational leaders to develop and execute continuous quality improvement projects
- Approve the budget associated with the process and product quality initiatives for the organization. Control the quality control expenses (include consumables, gauges etc.,)
- Develop a periodic quality review process so that new ideas and technologies are incorporated into the quality management
- To have best in class quality interventions. Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications.
- Liaison with industry bodies to appreciate the world class practices and evaluate the implementation of the same within the organization.
- Customer interactions and visits to understand customer expectations
Desired Candidate Profile:-
- Should be graduate in B.tech /B.O.E (Mechanical).
- Required 8-15 Years of experience in Sheet Metal & Machining Process / Quality Control / Quality Assurance / quality systems / Audit Management / Customer Complain etc.
- Systems like TPM, TQM, LEAN & various quality systems.
- Knowledge of gauges, calibration system and tools, latest system, methods and tools for internal audit.
- Leadership & Team building ability.
- Forward-planning and strategy
Note:- The ideal candidate should be from Sheet Metal (Automobile) industries only.
