We are hiring Quality Manager for a leading LED Lighting Manufacturing Company
Overview
The Quality Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in the production of LED lighting products at our Pallikaranai location. The role is pivotal in maintaining customer satisfaction, upholding industry certifications, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce quality control processes and standards for LED lighting production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and industry regulations
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality records
- Lead and support new product development activities to ensure quality requirements are met
- Implement statistical process control methods to monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and tools
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
- Manage the internal and external quality audits and ensure proper closure of audit findings
- Provide training and support to production personnel on quality processes and standards
- Analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Participate in supplier evaluation and qualification processes
- Support the implementation of quality management software systems
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive quality excellence
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust quality management system
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
- Proven experience in a quality management role, preferably in the LED lighting industry
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems
- Experience in conducting internal and external quality audits
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, such as FMEA, SPC, and Six Sigma
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives
- Good understanding of process improvement techniques and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Certification in Quality Management or related field is a plus
- Knowledge of LED lighting product design and manufacturing processes
- Experience in supplier quality management and evaluation
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software applications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence
