A Snapshot of Your Day
As Quality Engineer (f/m/d) in Battery Energy Storage (battery, power conversion system (PCS), and controls), every day is not the same in your multicultural team. You will be responsible with your colleagues for the development of the best-fit-solutions in Energy Storage for our global customers and make a significant contribution to the energy transition. With our Siemens Energy-wide collaboration, we combine various sustainable solutions to increase our customer happiness.
How You'll Make an Impact
.Lead tasks and sub-streams for project quality in development projects
.Lead the APQP tasks in the project
.Ensure good requirements quality and completeness in cooperation with the requirements engineer in development and execution of the requirements.
.Lead the project risk management and support FMEA activities.
.Ensure project quality throughout the product development process including the fulfillment of the quality gates.
.Work in close cooperation with supplier quality department on supplier selection and process controls
.Contribute to improvement of the product development process
.Contribute to collection and implementation of Lessons Learned
What You Bring
.Academic degree in the field of engineering, business administration or similar area or long-term professional work experience in a relevant area
.Profound knowledge with regards to the quality Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP 8D), Six Sigma certification is a plus
.Profound knowledge with regards to Change Management, Non-Conformity Management and Document Management
.Experience within Lithium-Ion cells and batteries is a plus
.Willingness to travel globally occasionally.
.Intercultural experience and motivation to work with multicultural teams.
.Good communication skills and a self-organized way of working in an intercultural environment.
.Fluent in English German skills are a plus.
