Job Overview
We are hiring a Quality Manager - Agrochemical (Formulation) to ensure the quality control and assurance processes for the formulation of agrochemical products. This is a full-time position based in Jaipur, offering a competitive salary range.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality control and assurance processes for agrochemical formulation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement quality management systems to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of formulation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, ensuring continuous improvement in product quality.
- Lead internal and external audits to assess the compliance of formulation processes and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for formulation processes, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Train and mentor the quality control team on quality standards, processes, and testing methods.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and trends in agrochemical formulation, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of raw materials and packaging components used in formulation.
- Monitor and analyze key quality metrics, preparing and presenting reports on quality performance to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in quality control/assurance in the agrochemical industry, specifically in formulation processes.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to agrochemical formulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience in conducting internal and external audits, and implementing corrective actions.
- Proficiency in using quality management systems and tools to monitor and evaluate formulation processes.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental standards in agrochemical formulation is a plus.
