Position Title:Quality Inspector

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Job Location: Mumbai

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Quality Inspector to join our client. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and industry standards. This role involves ensuring product and process quality through detailed inspections, audits, and compliance with relevant standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Quality Methodologies: Utilize and apply quality control methodologies such as 8D, checklists, and 7QC tools to identify and resolve quality issues.

Inspection and Interpretation: Interpret and analyze drawing content for inspection purposes, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

CAPA Reports: Prepare and manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports to address and mitigate quality issues.

Audits: Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.

Warehouse Processes: Maintain awareness and oversight of warehouse processes to ensure proper handling and storage of materials.

Calibration: Perform and oversee calibration activities for various measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.

5S Implementation: Implement and maintain 5S methodology to promote a clean and organized workplace.

Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and EMS 14001:2015 standards.

Manufacturing Processes: Oversee and ensure quality in manufacturing processes such as casting, buffing, machining, plating, lacquering, painting, powder coating, cutting, and bending.

Measuring Instruments: Utilize and maintain measuring instruments including plating/powder/lacquer thickness testers, vernier calipers, micrometers, radius gauges, special purpose gauges, height gauges, and more.

Skills Set:

Proficiency in using quality control tools and methodologies, as well as various measuring instruments.

In-depth understanding of ISO standards, CAPA processes, and manufacturing quality control.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection and reporting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues promptly.
