JOB DESCRIPTION:n

Roles/Responsibilities:n

• Creating testing procedures to evaluate the performance of the data engineering Pipelinesn
• Building Data validation pipeline that automate testing processesn
• Running the Data pipelines testing procedures to evaluate the data pipelinesn
• Documenting all testing proceduresn
• Reporting bugs and making recommendations to improve the data pipelinesn
• Collaborating with other Test Engineers, Software Programmers and other team membersn
• Retesting data pipelines after bugs are fixed to ensure the pipelines works properly and maintain data qualityn

Basic Qualifications:n

• 4+ years of Python or Java development experiencen
• 4+ years of SQL experience (No-SQL experience is a plus)n
• 4+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modelingn
• Experience in testing the data processing systemsn
• Experience working with big data technologies like Hive, Spark etcn
• Experience of Google Cloud platform is a plusn
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsn
• Process oriented with great documentation skills
