We are looking for a detail-oriented Tester to join our Product Quality team for pCloudy BU based in bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing processes, a good understanding of API testing, and some knowledge of automation testing tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities: s
Conduct comprehensive manual testing on various applications to ensure functionality, performance, and stability.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
Perform API testing to validate the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of the API endpoints.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Collaborate with development teams to understand the application features, bug fixes, and enhancements.
Assist in the preparation of test plans, test environments, and test data.
Report test results and provide detailed analysis on test outcomes.
Contribute to the improvement of the QA processes and practices.
Utilize knowledge of automation tools to assist in the creation of automated test scripts (knowledge of tools like Selenium, Postmanss).
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1-3 year experience in Manual Testing
Proven experience as a Manual Tester with a focus on API testing.
Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
Knowledge in REST API Testing and automation and exposure to tools like Postman, or Swagger
Basic knowledge of automation testing framework (e.g., Selenium or Appium) is an added advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
