Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications (consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals). The role will require the Quality Engineer to collaborate closely with various departments to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.

Conduct inspections and tests of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure quality specifications are met.

Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.

Collaborate with the production team to develop effective strategies to address and resolve quality issues.

Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address non-conformances.

Prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation related to quality assurance activities.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.

Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts for quality-related issues.

Participate in internal and external audits.

Train and educate employees on quality control standards and procedures.

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met for incoming materials.

Utilize statistical methods and software to analyze quality data and drive improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role.

Proficiency in quality management systems and methodologies.

Strong knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.

Experience with quality inspection, auditing, and testing.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in using quality software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
