Quality Engineer

Job Description

To ensure that all the raw materials at incoming, in process and final stage are inspected tested and/or verified for conformity to the laid down specification as per quality plan and material specifications.

Responsible for verification of records of incoming, in process and final inspection.

To ensure that all the raw materials are issued to the production department only after necessary inspection and tests are done and results match raw materials specifications.

To ensure that all the inspection, measuring and test equipment used in Quality Assurance Department are calibrated before validity for the same is expired.

To ensure that all the non-conforming products are suitably disposed of to avoid confusion at various stages of production.

To ensure that inspection and testing of the products at all the stages are carried out.

To ensure that all the inspection and test records are maintained to show evidence of conformity or non-conformity to the specified requirements.

To make necessary arrangements for customer/third party inspection, if any.

Support MR for conducting Internal Quality Audits and improve quality system.

To ensure stringent follow-up of the documented quality system.

To ensure inspection and test status of the products in the production area.

To report to the Plant Manager about the daily work activities.
