The Quality Control Supervisor Intern will work closely with the QA team to ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle. This role involves overseeing the daily tasks of the quality assurance team, ensuring test plans and processes are followed, and collaborating with various departments to address quality issues. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality management and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate tasks of the QA team, ensuring timely completion of testing activities.
Develop and review test plans, test cases, and quality control procedures.
Ensure consistent application of quality standards throughout all stages of development.
Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure prompt resolution.
Conduct audits and quality assessments to ensure adherence to project requirements.
Collaborate with developers and project managers to communicate quality concerns and suggest improvements.
Provide guidance and feedback to QA team members to enhance performance.
Prepare reports and maintain documentation on quality metrics and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic knowledge of software testing processes and methodologies.
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
