We are seeking a dedicated Entry-Level Quality Control Engineer to join our Operations team. As a Quality Control Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and processes through effective quality control measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement projects aimed at improving both inward and outward quality within the manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and inspection protocols to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Train and educate the execution team on quality control processes, procedures, and tools to foster a culture of quality excellence.
- Perform regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and finished products to identify non-conformances and areas for improvement.
- Analyse quality data, including defect rates, scrap rates, and customer complaints, to identify trends, causes, and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarising quality performance metrics, findings, and recommendations for management review.
- Participate in problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
- Support the implementation of quality management systems (QMS) and ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in quality control and quality management.
Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good technical aptitude and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English. Multilingual is preferable.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Good presentation skills.
- Should be able to travel for business purposes.
- Knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies, such as statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and 5 Whys.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and quality standards, such as ISO 9001.
- Familiarity with lean principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with CAD software is a plus.
- Should have knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Excel, and Statistical Analysis Software.
Expected Qualification:
Completed Bachelor or Master degree with minimum 7.0 CGPA in one of the below disciplines:
