Job Position: QA Lead (Product Development)

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the QA team, including mentoring, coaching, and performance management.

2. Strategy Development: Develop and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices to ensure. effective quality assurance throughout the product development lifecycle. Lead special projects and initiatives on behalf of the CTO, working cross-functionally to drive progress and deliver results.

3. Test Planning and Execution: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and specifications. Lead the execution of testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.

4. Automation: Drive the implementation of automated testing solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and frameworks.

5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers, to ensure alignment on quality goals and priorities.

6. Defect Management: Establish and maintain processes for defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution. Work. closely with development teams to investigate, reproduce, and resolve issues identified during testing.

7. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality assurance process, tools, and methodologies. Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and quality enhancements.

8. Reporting and Metrics: Generate regular reports on QA activities, test results, and defect metrics. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.

9. Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices. Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in QA and software development.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (7+ years) in quality assurance roles, with a focus on software product
• development.
• Extensive experience with software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with Java
• Solid understanding of Agile development practices and principles.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, FDA) is desirable.
• Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are advantageous.
