ob Summary:
The Product Quality Assurance Assistant will be responsible for supporting the quality assurance processes to ensure that all products meet the company's standards for reliability, safety, and performance. The role involves assisting with quality checks, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation and execution of quality assurance processes throughout the production cycle.
Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Record and maintain detailed documentation of inspection and testing results, as well as other quality-related data.
Support root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to address defects or inconsistencies in product quality.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
Assist in preparing and maintaining quality assurance documentation, including procedures, standards, and reports.
Monitor and enforce adherence to safety and quality regulations and guidelines.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement in the quality assurance process.
Help manage non-conforming products and oversee rework or corrective actions as needed.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers regarding quality concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field (preferred).
Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality control standards.
Familiarity with inspection tools and testing methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
