Job Description:
Promarc is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the highest quality standards in our civil building projects. The ideal candidate will have a BE in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, and a strong commitment to construction excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with approved plans and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests at various stages of construction.
2. Material Inspection
- Verify the quality of materials such as cement, steel, and aggregates.
- Ensure that only approved and conforming materials are used in construction.
3. Workmanship
- Assess construction activities, including concrete pouring, masonry, and finishing.
- Identify defects or deviations and implement corrective measures.
4. Document Control
- Guide the site team in maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and documentation.
- Ensure all quality-related documents are updated and audit-ready.
5. Non-Conformance Management
- Identify non-conformances and deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
6. Quality Audits
- Conduct internal quality audits to evaluate system effectiveness.
- Implement improvements based on audit findings.
7. Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at construction sites.
- Promote a safe and compliant working environment.
8. Testing and Certification
- Coordinate with external testing agencies for material testing and certifications.
- Verify that materials and construction components meet specified quality criteria.
Qualifications:
- Education: BE in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in quality assurance for building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and materials.
- Proficient in inspections, audits, and quality documentation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Compensation:
- Salary: 40,000 per month.
