Role and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the QA team and managing day-to-day testing activities
• Developing and implementing the overall QA strategy
• Collaborating with other business units to understand their quality needs
• Ensuring the quality of both product and software development
• Overseeing the selection and design of automation test cases
• Approving the automation test plan and overseeing its implementation
• Ensuring the proper configuration of the Selenium Test Environment (STE)
• Overseeing the design and implementation of automation frameworks
• Managing the defect management process and ensuring effective solutions are implemented for identified problems
• Interacting with customers/clients to understand their issues and ensure their satisfaction
• Continually exploring and implementing new ways to improve the quality processes
• Upskilling the team to automation testing practices from manual testing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in managing a QA team
• Knowledge of the Agile development life-cycle
• Experience with Selenium and other API frameworks using Python
• Experience with automation of backend testing
• Experience with Rest assured framework or similar
• Experience in setting up automated test frameworks
• Good exposure to tools like Git & Jira
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in upskilling a team to automation testing practices from manual testing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 7-15 years of industry experience in all types of Testing (System, Integration & Regression)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing QA engineers
• Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within QA
