Job Description

We are a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional user experiences across all platforms. We're searching for a seasoned QA Lead with expertise in mobile and web app testing to lead our QA efforts.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a QA Lead with a strong background in both manual and automation testing to spearhead our quality assurance initiatives for Android, iOS, and web applications. You will be responsible for building a robust testing strategy, leading a team of QA professionals, and ensuring the flawless functionality and usability of our products on all platforms.

Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of QA testers specializing in mobile and web app testing.
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies for all features and functionalities across Android, iOS, and web applications, encompassing both manual and automation testing approaches.
Conduct and oversee various types of testing, including functional, performance, usability, regression, and security testing, specific to mobile and web apps.
Champion the adoption and implementation of automation testing frameworks and tools like Appium, and Selenium for mobile and web apps.
Identify, document, and report bugs and defects effectively across all platforms.
Collaborate closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of bugs.
Stay up-to-date on the latest QA methodologies, tools, and best practices for mobile and web app testing.
Continuously improve the overall QA process by identifying and implementing optimizations for mobile and web app testing.
Participate in product development meetings and provide valuable QA insights specific to mobile and web platforms.
Foster a collaborative environment where open communication and knowledge sharing are encouraged within the QA team and across departments.

Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a proven track record of success in both manual and automation testing of mobile (Android & iOS) and web applications.
Experience leading and mentoring a QA team with expertise in mobile and web app testing.
In-depth understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Strong knowledge of various QA methodologies and tools for mobile and web app testing (e.g., exploratory testing, Appium, Selenium, web automation frameworks).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Superior communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Mobile & Web App Testing Expertise:

Experience in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript).
Experience with popular mobile automation testing frameworks (e.g., Appium) and web automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
Solid understanding of mobile device testing principles and tools (e.g., emulators, simulators).
Familiarity with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
