Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Engineer at Workassist located in Chennai. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for test execution, manual testing, and software testing. They will create and execute test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our platform.

Primary Responsibilty:

Quality Engineer

Job Description:

• Report making Inspection testing plan, PQP, field quality plan Review
• Making checklists & ensuring maintenance of the same

Accountability

• Quality of the end product (Project works & material )
• Accurate & timely reporting to the Quality Head.
• Reducing the number of repetitions because of Quality errors

Operational

• Material testing at the project site
• Process checking / Inspections of construction activities.
• To assist Quality Head/Incharge /in establishing & implementing a Quality Management System
• ITPs for each construction activity & verify their implementation through site inspections & audits
• To ensure that the Finished Quality of the projects meets all relevant standards.

Snagging & desnagging.

• Ensure quality workmanship throughout the project in all aspects.(Structural work + Finishing work)

Developmental

• Ensuring the Implementation of learning of new technologies on-site
• Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification & Experience :

• BE Civil with 0 to 12 years experience.
• Should have good written & verbal communication skills
• Should have real estate experience (residential project)
• Should have worked on/ completed at least one residential project end-to-end

Should have hands-on experience in Finishing.

• Tiling/Marble/Stone/ Grouting.
• Blockwork/Plastering/ Painting.
• Cladding (Aluminum + Glass) (Aluminum + External Stone)
• False ceiling+ External Works + Door Windows +Ironmongery+ CP & Sanitary etc

Should have Knowledge of Design Mix, Material Testing, QAQC Documentation, MIS/Reports, Audits Method Statements

External: Suppliers, contractors, External laboratories,

Education & Experience Requirement:

• BE Civil with 0 to 12 years of relevant experience in QAQC Function

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
• Experience in manual testing and test execution
• Proficiency in creating and executing test cases
• Understanding of software testing methodologies
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
