You will collaborate with hardware design engineers to establish reliability requirements and perform quality analyses. Required Skills
- Hands on experience in EMI EMC analysis, validation and troubleshooting
- Experience partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify issues and solve problems
- Hands-on experience assembling, disassembling, inspecting, and modifying hardware
- Work cross-functionally with diverse teams of engineers, operators and manufacturers to define and execute reliability and durability tests for system hardware
- Ability to plan and ensure follow up on complex test plans
- Identify or develop new test hardware and analysis tools to support reliability verification efforts
- Hands on experience in EMI EMC analysis, validation and troubleshooting
- Understanding of accelerated testing methods, governing equations, and physics of failure for different failure mechanisms
Desired Skills
- Collaborate with development teams to improve hardware reliability based on experience, best practices, test data and analysis
- Assist with hardware failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Excellent written and verbal communication to explain test plans, results and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders
- Familiar with LABVIEW and have hands on experience in developing test jigs and test programs for reliability testing
- Working knowledge of a programming language (preferably Python) with the ability to write and modify scripts
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:
- Work as a reliability engineer and lead in product design and reliability reviews during new product development to ensure product robustness
- Drive design for reliability initiatives by generating Reliability requirements, DFMEA, de-rating analysis, stress analysis, FMECA, reliability allocation and prediction models., etc.
- Define the test requirements for highly accelerated life testing (HALT), highly accelerated stress testing and environmental testing to identify the product failure modes
- Perform statistical data analysis, regression modelling, Weibull analysis, hazard analysis, warranty trend analysis for enhancing product quality
- Conduct reliability analysis by using software tools like relex or similar
- Perform reliability analysis by parts stress method on electronic schematic
- Perform reliability modelling including fault tree analysis (FTA) and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA)
Degree and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 3 to 4 years of experience in hardware reliability, failure analysis, EMI EMC validation
