Quality Assurance Engineer

Role: QA Engineer

Location: Bengaluru (Work from Office)

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.

Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of software applications.

Identify and document software defects, track their status, and verify fixes.

Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.

Make and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

STLC process knowledge backed by experience and automation skills.

Automate test cases and integrate them into the testing framework, where applicable.

Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for improvements.

Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.

Assist in the continuous improvement of the QA process and methodologies.

Proficient in Mobile testing, Automation testing ;

The ability to identify suitable candidates for automation in an application would be a key

Experience in Agile Scrum processes, should have past experience in such projects

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to discuss requirements, defects, and test scenarios with business users, business analysts

Able to write the basic SQL database queries

Work from our office on a daily basis
