Role Description:

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating automation frameworks, scripting, and identifying software defects. They should also possess a solid understanding of testing methodologies and tools, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Automation Test Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
• Create robust automation frameworks to support functional and regression testing.

1. Test Execution:

• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects accurately.
• Work with manual testing teams to identify areas for automation coverage.

1. Defect Management:

• Identify, document, and track bugs in tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.

1. Performance Testing:

• Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Analyze application behavior under varying loads and recommend optimizations.

1. Integration with CI/CD Pipelines:

• Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Ensure test automation aligns with build and deployment processes.

1. Test Planning and Documentation:

• Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test case documentation.
• Ensure alignment with project requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills
• Experience in creating test cases and manual testing
• QA Automation expertise
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
• Experience with testing tools like Selenium or Appium
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
