Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our products/services through comprehensive testing and analysis. The Quality Analyst will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and timelines.
- Design and execute test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
- Identify, prioritize, and report defects with clear and detailed descriptions.
- Track and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle, from discovery to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform regression testing to verify software stability and compatibility across different environments.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and usability issues.
- Document testing processes, results, and findings for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and software testing.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall software quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role in software development/testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test cases for web applications, APIs, and mobile apps.
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or HP Quality Center.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Python).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
