Quality Analyst Tester

Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our growing team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.

• Responsibilities:

Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and specifications.

• Design and develop test plans and test cases covering various functionalities.

Execute manual and automated tests across different platforms and identify defects (knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools preferred).

• Report and document bugs and defects clearly, including reproduction steps.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on potential usability issues, with a focus on functionality and edge cases.

• Work with developers to verify bug fixes and ensure quality improvements.

Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the QA process.

• Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in software testing.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for quality.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) a plus.

• Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) a plus.

Experience with automation tools like Selenium and Appium a plus.
