JR61174 QRA SSD Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Failure Analysis Engineer

As a Global Quality (GQ) SSD Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Failure Analysis (FA) Technician at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for preparing and testing materials, gathering data, and reporting on failures. You will prepare devices/equipment, pull debug diagnostics, and replicate customer environment and failures. You will work with various engineering groups to interpret failure data and summarize and track results. You will perform bench level or Automated Test Equipment (ATE) testing, precondition and pretest devices, and recover functionality after firmware testing. You will prioritize requests, schedule or request new equipment, and coordinate vendor repairs. You will also manage documentation and provide training as needed.

Receive and Prepare Materials for Testing

• Verify incoming material against tracking system (RMAFAST) for physical count and accuracy
• Appropriately disposition material in tracking system
• Interpret failure information with Quality Engineers

Perform Test Operation

• Perform Automated Test Equipment (ATE) operation
• Physically load device in the tester to test the device to ensure functionality
• Run test according to request and gather results for engineer

Conduct Maintenance and Provide Warranty Validation

• Develop and maintain documentation for Warranty SOP
• Process RMA drives to Warranty validation
