Position:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a QHSE Advisor to join the Sulmara team, based in our Singapore office. The QHSE Advisor will undertake QHSE duties as instructed by the Global QHSE Manager, including the development and maintenance of management systems. This position is responsible for coordinating QHSE strategies in the region, planning and assisting with implementation of health, safety, quality and environmental processes to ensure all objectives are met in companys uncompromising efforts for an incident-free work environment.
Requirements:
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the QHSE Manager with the development and maintenance of Company QHSE documentation and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Conduct external supplier / sub-contractor audits and internal company audits as required by the Sulmara audit schedule.
- Participate / lead during ISO and client audits of regional Sulmara offices.
- Assist with the preparation of project quality plans and HSE related project procedures and participation in project HAZID / HAZOPS.
- Assisting with the preparation of QHSE pre-qualifications, bid information and reports.
- Maintaining records on the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Assisting with the duties of the Global QHSE Manager as required.
- Assists with generating, updating and reviewing risk assessments and job safety analysis, where applicable.
- Maintaining client databases with Sulmara QHSE information.
- Office orientations and new hire inductions.
- Coordinating employee training in the region with Operations Manager.
- Ensure regional compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate / lead health testing requirements.
Skills Requirements
- Must have knowledge and awareness of laws and regulations governing safety, compliance and environmental requirement.
- Must be able to interact effectively with diverse cultures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with work crews, management, and customers.
- Must be able to delegate effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English).
Experience, Competency And Qualifications
- Extensive experience of operational safety, compliance, quality and environmental programs gained ideally in the offshore services environment.
- Working knowledge of the principles and requirements of ISO 9001: 2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018.
- Membership of a professional institute advantageous.
