Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and fabricated materials, ensuring adherence to drawings and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records for all pressure part components and oversee quality control inspections.
  • Ensure proper calibration of measuring devices and instruments for reliable inspections.
  • Oversee the manufacturing of ASME code-required pressure vessels and manage documentation.
  • Verify welder performance qualifications and ensure alignment with WPS/PQR documentation.
  • Coordinate external inspections with authorized ASME inspectors and other agencies.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections, including hydro and pneumatic tests.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BE/DME in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with ASME codes, specifically Section 8, Division 1/2., CSWIP 3.2.
  • Knowledge of painting and coating processes.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • 5+ years as a QC Inspector in pressure vessel construction, piping, or structural welding.
  • Fabrication and machining experience.

Experience:

  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, preferably with PV550 equipment.
