Job Description:
We specialize in software for education sector. Looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle for web based, mobile application and windows applications with particular responsibility in the quality assurance with emphasis on development and implementation of manual testing and test automation (where necessary).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
- Writing test cases to cover the functional, cross browser, security, VAPT, load, performance testing.
- Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources.
- Good experience in automation for functionality & UI testing.
- Development and execution of a regression test harness that replicates prior projects, automate sanity testing for new releases.
- Development and execution of functional, system and acceptance tests
- Coaching, training and mentoring of sales team and customers.
- Ability to design, develop and execute Test Plans & Test Cases and review of all test cases and test scripts with the team and ensure quality and standards are applied correctly.
- Ensure defects are raised and recorded effectively and work closely with the team to ensure a timely resolution, which includes prioritization resolution and retest.
- Establish best practices for QA activities within the team.
- Regular updates and risk identification for on-going projects to management.
Requirement:
- 1+ years of experience in Manual testing and Automation.
- Good knowledge of automated testing, techniques & methodologies to lead the automation efforts.
- Experience in various SDLC methodology such as Agile.
- Has strong time management skills and is able to multitask effectively.
- Defect Management.
- Good communication in English and Hindi.
- Customer interaction experience is preferred.
- Graduate degree is a must.
